Illustrations ☆。*
I draw more than I animate, I think most people do. To give myself a break from looking at a screen all the time, I try to keep myself connected to my roots with traditional art with illustrations. I'm an avid believer that everyone should have a sketchbook, and I don't mean a drawing app on your screen of choice. I mean a proper paper sketchbook. Spiral or stitched or glue bound, with dots or stripes or squares, whatever it may be. I will literally draw on anything given to me - I once drew on a receipt with the burnt end of a match when I was a kid. Got grounded for playing with matches, which I thought was really unfair. With the instantaneous results of digital media, I think most people forgot how truly hard it is to make art, especially with the rise of generative AI and other similar tools in recent times.
