Animatics ☆。*

Like most people who were online way too much during their childhood, I used to watch a lot of animatics on YouTube. People who didn't have the attention span or time to properly animate stuff would settle for animatics, sometimes accompanied with flashy effects and camera movements to compensate for lack of fluid animation, and post them online for everyone to see and engage with. Once I got a few years older, I did my first animatics on sweet MS Paint and Windows Movie Maker, of characters from fandoms I enjoyed as a child. Once I got older, I started putting more and more effort into what I made since I grew more passionate and more capable of both drawing and editing.
Most of these animatics use sound clips from songs, series and movies, anything I could get my hands on to get an idea across without having to spend hours doing proper animations and recording voicelines.

2021-2024

Weirdly enough, I made more animatics for my own enjoyment during my college years than as part of assignments. I'll display both regardless; just thought it was funny. Animatics made for college assignments are labeled as such.

2020-2018

Very amateur animatics full of filters and editing errors. Still, that's part of the creative process These were all done before I had access to decent video editing. I'm pretty sure some of these were even made with the old Windows 7 Movie Maker, iMovie or some unbranded video editor off of PlayStore. If there was a will, there was a way.
