Sirius "White"
- White
White is the leader of a mafia family in New York, being the only person who's been able to overthrow a whole mafia family from the inside-out, rebuilding it to make it his own. This was done to avenge White's younger brother, who died during an incident with their local mafia while they were kids.

Personality
White is a calculative but prepared person. He's fiercly protective, a hard man to get to, surrounded by others who'd kill and die to have his back. Sirius is a cold ruthless man, kindness or mercy from him being practically unheard of... until he picks a baby off the streets. He softens up for his lovingly nicknamed "cardboard box baby" behind closed doors and alongside his underboss, Lawrence.
Story
Sirius was born into a low-class family in NY 1940s. He lived with his single mom and little brother Tyson in a small single bedroom house in the outskirts of New York City, passing the time by stealing oranges from street vendors and chasing rats down streets until they sneaked into the sewers. Sirius and Tyson were inseparable; too poor to attend school, they'd spend their days playing around their neighborhood and committing petty crimes for an afternoon snack. While Sirius was left content with the little he had, his little brother Tyson always dreamed of more; being the breadwinner of their household and one day making them rich. Because of this, Tyson idolized the local mafia and the power they had over the city, seeing how rich and well off they seemed to be with a thrilling life of crime. Sirius tried not to indulge his little brother a lot, but even he wished they were a little better off in terms of quality of life.
One night they were awoken by the sound of roaring engines, the mafia having traveled deeper into the neighborhood than the usual. Seeing a chance to see his heroes in action, Tyson convinced Sirius to follow him out the door in that stormy night just to see the mafia goons up-close. Reluctantly, Sirius agreed. They followed the cars into an alley where the goons and their boss were discarding off a body. In his enthusiasm, Tyson made too much noise from where they were hiding and got himself and his brother found. In a panic, one of the goons aimlessly shot at the brothers, getting executed by the other members of the mafia and taken away as they fled the scene. Sirius got his face disfigured on his left side, his cheek being ripped off by the gunblast. Tyson didn't make it, and too scared to go home without his little brother, Sirius ran away into the night, never to be seen by his mother again.
For the next few years, Sirius hopped all around the city, sleeping in couches and wherever he could, getting odd jobs to afford a motel room once or twice a month. As he made it to his young adulthood, Sirius knew that he wanted to avenge his brother, to eradicate the family that owned the mafia that had ruined his life. His young adult years were spend growing a reputation good enough to be let into groups and gangs, slowly going up the hierarchy to get closer and closer to the big dogs. He eventually got a spot as the underboss for that same crime family from all those years ago. As soon as he had the chance, Sirius eradicated the entire family; a man, his wife and only son, still a child himself. Sirius swore for that to be the last time a child died by his hands, and took over the crime family. New members were contracted to replace and kill the old family's strongest goons, the organized crime group being rebuilt from the inside-out.
Sirius, now most commonly known as White by the other mafia families, runs his mafia like a hitman-for-hiring business. While other crime families run with drug trafficking and money laundering, White is in the death business, handling things like assassination plots and rental of bodyguards and manpower. He has his own underboss who he trusts his life with, but rarely lets in new people anymore.
At the end of a successful hitjob, White and his group of men were drawn to the now hearable sounds of a baby crying somewhere in an alley close to their location. Lead by White himself, they found a baby, only a few months old, abandoned in a cardboard box in the rain. A piece of paper next to the infant named him Silver. White knew he should leave it next to some orphanage or somewhere more fitting for a baby to be, but as soon as he held the poor thing, the way its tiny hands wrapped around White's fingers, it was set. He didn't have to convince the rest of the group to go along with the sudden change of plan, since the humanity of his henchmen shone through layers of gunshot residue and bloody suits. Did they know how to raise a kid? Some of those people had been fathers, uncles, even older siblings. And perhaps, deep down, this would help White fix his unresolved feelings towards that fateful night, and what little Tyson could have been if things had been different.
Relationships

Silver
White's adoptive "cardboard baby" son. He and his group found the kid, not even a few months old, in an old cardboard box by the side of the road with a note: "free to a good home. his name is silver. he is a few days old. don't look for me". Nobody was expecting to find him there: a baby, a whole entire baby right by the side of their latest gang shootout. It was already mafia code to not hurt kids... and the gang decided that leaving Silver there, all alone, would mean willingly hurting him. Very few people disliked the kid, despite the pain in the ass he could be; Silver was the humanity and partial innocence in a house full of mafia goons and killers (as much innocence as a kid raised like that could have). It took a whole mafia family to raise a kid, but everyone knew he was White's above anyone else's.

Lawrence
White's right-hand man, underboss, maybe fucks on the side we dunno. Lawrence was one of the first people White started to trust during his rise to power, someone who used to work for the family White had slaughtered to avenge his brother. Betraying one's family to avenge a friend's was outrageous, unfathomable. Lawrence would have been killed or even worse for that if they got caught even conspiring. But they never did, and as White became the head of the new family, he kept Lawrence close by his side. It's suspected that, besides his son, Lawrence is the only person who has deeper conversations with White, who accompanies his ramblings or single seconds of vulnerability, locked away behind closed gates and security systems. They probably also fuck but nobody's been able to figure that one out (they do).

Bruno
Ex-member of the mafia, currently dead. Bruno was also part of the first few people that White contracted to rebuild a mafia family of his own. He was a ruthless, uncaring man, which helped with the harsher parts of the whole "killer for hire" gig. However, he was a rotten apple that sat close to White for the longest time, envious of the boss' relationship with his right-hand man, Lawrence. Though that envy grew mostly quietly, it soon boiled over as Silver was introduced to the family. When the boy was old enough to join the family in shootouts and hit jobs, Bruno tried to get Silver killed in the chaos of it all. The boy escaped him, but barely. It wasn't long until White found out about it and, during the same shootout, he killed Bruno himself, ridding their family of a traitor.
Trivia
- Silver was created by @cyanocoraxx on Tumblr! They also helped brainstorm and write down parts of White's mafia and their goons.
- Sirius' surname is unknown due to him keeping his true identity a secret even from his own mafia members. Over the years, he's jumped from surname to surname to prevent being tracked. Some of the surnames used were Bianco, Stellato and Vongdara.
- As is the mafia hierarchy, Sirius needs a underboss. For that job, he picked one of his most loyal henchmen; a man named Lawrence, who has been with White for the longest compared to all the other men in the mafia. Also they definitely aren't dating behind closed and locked doors.
