Trapper

Trappers are a type of Darkner enemies encountered in LunaLand.

As one of Lady Ovnee's types of lackey, they'll attack on command and roam around LunaLand.

Profile

Appearence

Trappers are tall, lanky Darkners resembling venus fly traps. Their heads are in the shape of a half-moon, similar to the closed "mouth" of a carnivorous plant, and large black oval eyes sit on each side of the face alongside their antennae. The top of their heads resembles a red mohawk, formed by the outer "teeth" of a venus fly trap. Their bodies are long and spindly, their backs arched with a hunchback. Each arm has three fingers, and its feet are red and have long, sharp, claw-like appendages.

Personality

Trappers are sneaky and furtive creatures. They like to hunt smaller prey and chase them around for the fun of it. They particularly like to hunt for bugs to eat, which makes them a big threat in LunaLand, where the population is mostly bug Darkners. Even so, if fed during battle, they become docile and will leave the player and other characters alone.

Main Story

Chapter [[GARY]]

Trappers are lanky alien plant enemies commanded by Lady Ovnee as she tries to take over LunaLand. As a "runner" class enemy, they are fast enemies that try to take quick hits at the player. Despite that, they're easily defeated through ACTing, as the player can feed them by using Fly and then Spare them. They're primarily sent after the Fun Gang by Lady Ovnee whenever she tries to take over LunaLand during the many Rewinds created by Lil' Telly.

Attacks

• Trapper will open its head and attract flies to it, which will fly directly in front of the bullet board. Getting hit or running into one of the flies deals damage.
• Trapper shoots many vines that are concentrated on the SOUL as it moves around the board. Getting hit or running into a vine deals damage.

Trivia

• All of Lady Ovnee's lackeys are based off of existing plants. Trapper is based on venus fly trap plants, as the name and design imply.
• A lot of the Trapper's attacks seem to be references to the attacks used in the OMega Flowey fight in Undertale.
• Both share attacks where the SOUL must dodge a swarm of incoming flies.
• Both share an attack where vines shoot towards the SOUL as it traverses the bullet board.
