Cherry

Cherry is a darkner and one of the protagonists of the NextGen Au. She claims to be "THE WILL" mentioned in the New Prophecy.
Being the weakest of the team - with less max HP and weaker attacks - but being able to cast healing spells, Cherry is the healer of the Party. She weilds a tie as a weapon.
Profile
Appearence
Cherry is depicted as a short humanoid Darkner. Her whole body is pitch black without any dissertable features, similar to a shadow. Her hair seems to be shoulder length with a part of ot tied up on the right side of her head. She wears round opaque glasses, the frame invisible but the lenses are red (right) and green (left). She also wears a big, dark purple blazer drapped over her shoulders, the lapels red and yellow. Around her neck is a green neckerchief tied with two red balls.
Personality
Cherry starts off as an empty vessel without much of a personality. She seems to know a very specific purpose she was given for as long as she can remember, and is determined to follow it. Because of that, she allows herself little room for distractions or the simple development of a personality; this becomes the focus of Chapter 1 later on. Cherry later reveals herself to be a bossy professionalist; she believes things are to be done a certain way, and that there is a reason for it to be that way. She often butts heads with her teammates over how they choose to go about their adventures and tasks in the Dark World, disapproving of what she believes to be carelessness from their part. Eventually though, she learns to at least let herself enjoy the adventures they go on, growing closer to her teammates and, in rare occasions, suggesting a quick detour from their original plans herself.

History
Cherry does not divulge much of her story. She'll mention being "given a reason" for her existance, but never mentions by who or what her purpose is besides the New Prophecy.

NextGen
CHAPTER 1 : In the NextGen Au, Cherry is the first Darkner found by Paige and Becky once they reach the RuinTown DarkWorld. She reveals herself to Paige at the entrance to RuinTown, calling her by name and referring to her as the "GUARDIAN" of the New Prophecy, which she follows by explaining what the New Prophecy is. When informed Becky is still somewhere lost in the town, she joins Paige to go find her. Cherry teaches Paige how to fight in the DarkWorld, though she enphasizes that their role in the New Prophecy requires them to be peaceful with enemies as to RECRUIT them into RuinTown. During the chapter, the party is tasked with rescuing Becky and defeating enemies that have taken over RuinTown, recruiting them in the process. At the end of the chapter, the new recruits start rebuilding RuinTown by Cherry's orders.
Relationships

Paige
First Lightner Cherry met; the more aggreable one. Cherry gets along the best with Paige, as they both share a need for order. Even so, the two still butt heads often as Paige can't stop her artistic vein to make her improvise sometimes. As much as Cherry wishes she'd kept that to instances when an enemy needs to be dealt with peacefully (through ACTing), she can't exactly stop Paige from doing what she wants anyways.

Becky
Despised her at first, she's getting over it though. If Paige has bouts of creativity, Becky is a never-ending well of ideas, which means detours and chaos. The most creative out of the two, Cherry clashes with her often, livid with Becky's whimsy carelessness and bending of the rules. Even so, her creativity is most times what gets them out of tight situations as she finds infinite ways to ACT and spare enemies. Her big feelings make up for her lack of discipline, as she's the first one to get through to Cherry to not be "such a bum all the time" regarding their adventures.

Spells
- Pacify : Requires 16% TP. Immediatly SPARES an enemy if they're tired or sleepy.
- FixWish : Requires 35% TP. Depending on Magic STAT, it'll heal a small amount of health of the selected party member.
- C-Action : Does not require TP. Cherry does the player's selected ACT alongside the rest of the party. It'll be substituted wit other ACTions depending on whoever they're fighting against.
Weapons
- Cherry Tie : Default tie. "A basic green tie held together by a red pin."
- BluBerry Tie : Found in Chapter 2. "A soft blue tie. Increases Magic."
- Kiwi Tie : Found in Chapter 2 "A green and brown tie, it itches. Increases Defense but decreases Magic."
Trivia
- It is still unknown what Cherry's LightWorld counterpart is.
- Cherry's use of Magic, healing spells and "guide" like aspects places her in a similar position to Ralsei in the original DELTARUNE story.
- Also like Ralsei, Cherry's body is completely pitch black during Chapter 1. However, unlike Ralsei, she does not change form at the end of the chapter and remains like this throughout the game.
